The hype over BB creams

BB creams (aka Beauty Bomb's) are new to the market in North America, and we have seen nothing but positive reviews. So what is the all the hype about? Where did it come from and how is it so popular?

The BB cream was originated in Germany, where dermatologists used it as a healing power after undergoing laser skin surgery. They used it for the healing and soothing power. After, Korean cosmetic companies got a hold of how great this product was and tweaked it to make their own formulas. Which then lead to the public and famous actresses. BB creams are now available in Korea, South East Asia, Europe, USA and Canada!

So what is all the hype really about?

BB cream is suited for ALL skin types, including Sensitive and Acne prone! This product is your everyday, all-in-one product! You can say good-bye to your daily moisturizers, concealers, serums and foundations. This baby is going to do all that in just one step! (Hense why it is so darn popular!) BB creams not only provide skincare, but also makeup while improving the skins condition! The added bonus? It even helps even out your skin tone and provide coverage for those dark spots or blemishes!

Most Product features:

- Contains SPF
- Works like a tinted moisturizer
- Has the same coverage as a foundation but without clogging your pores and giving you the “cakey” look
- Has a natural finish
- Conceals all problems!
- Has healing properties which smooth, soften and even out the skin
- Helps maintain and create youthful skin again
- Anti-wrinkle and skin-lightening benefits

In a nutshell, your BB cream is your all-in-one cream! It is going to act as your foundation, concealer, moisturizer, sunblock and even primer all in one! Think of all the time you can save using a product like this on your busy mornings! What about all the money you can save?

BB creams are now available in all different prices, forms and brands, and available at your local drug or department stores! So… will you be saving time and try a BB cream?

A beauty must have: Korres Body Butter!

Summer is just around the corner, and well, I guess even though the weathers been kinda crappy, Spring is here! What does that mean? Your skin will be exposed! Keep your knees from looking dry and cracked bymoisturizing daily. Oh, and don't forget about those elbows!! One of my personal favourites to keep these areas from getting chapped is using Korres Body Butter!

Korres (Pronounced: CORE-RES) is a brand that originated in Greece. Many of you may not have heard of it yet as they are still fairly new to Canada. Korres is an all natural brand that is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive and intolerant!! Why do we love Korres so much? Simple! It is a great way to avoid harsh chemicals while still being beneficial. Not only that, but their products are enriched with plant extracts, some of which, leave a natural fragrance/ingredient behind! Mmmm

Now... about that Body Butter!
Slather this baby on after your shower on damp skin and enjoy the natural scent of Guava, Basil Lemon, Fig or Jasmine! You will instantly enjoy the rich, luxurious cream enriched with Shea Butter which will help soften, smooth and nourish the skin. Not only will it quickly absorb and deeply moisturize, it won't leave your skin feeling greasy or oily after! Ohhh and just for added bonus, she will also help restore your skin's elasticity and smoothness with a blend of Sunflower, Almond and Avocado oils! YEAH BABY!!
Apply all over the body, or just focus on problem areas such as those dry, cracked knees and elbows.

Where can you purchase Korres products?
Available at Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart, however, we still like the added bonus of those Shoppers Optimum points... who doesn't LOVE free stuff?? Korres Body butter is $33 for 235ML and will last you at least 3 months if used on a daily dosage. Available in 4 different scents.  (We also recommend the Shower Gel's!!!)

Till next time... stay moisturized,

Lise Watier Lip Kiss Crayon Gloss

One of my ultimate favourite long wearing lipsticks/glosses with HIGH PIGMENTATION is Lise Watier's Lip Kiss Crayon Gloss in Rose Intense. Rose Intense is a vibrant Fuschia pink with a bit of glitter in it. Every time I wear it I get loads of comments and ladies constantly asking me what it is and where to buy it.

Why I love it so much...

It is lightweight, non-sticky, high in pigment, high gloss and LONG LASTING all in one! I honestly couldn't rave about these sticks more!! Want some more reason to try it?? It's rich in plant extracts, which makes it also, hydrating and moisturizing!!!!!!!! WOWZA! They must be sharped with a sharpener, which, gives the added bonus of allowing you to draw it on precisely.

If you are a sucker for lipsticks and glosses... I HIGHLY recommend you try these. Heck, I highly recommend everyone to try them!! I promise, you will not be disappointed! :)

(Available in 9 different shades.) Pick them up at Shoppers Drug Mart or Sephora today!
